Cheap Caselogic PLS-17 Blue Ultra Portable 17″ Laptop Sleeve (Blue) Review

I was looking for a sleeve all over. I looked at all the products reviews to see if someone mentioned that the laptop was going to fit . No one mention what model laptop was the one that they where talking about. My Dell Studio 1747 (17.3″ screen)fits perfectly in the sleeve the inside is very soft. I would recomend this product to everyone who wants to keep a laptop safe. It does not have a handle but to carry it inside a bag is more than good plus it has a side pocket wich I have not used yet because I carry everything inside a backpack.

Cheap Ac Adapter Power Supply Charger for HP 463958-001 PPP009L PA-1650-02HN 463552-001 Laptop Review

I was shocked when I found that the cost to replace HP AC Adapter was something like . Particularly concerning was that the original lasted about a year and a half. I paid around 0 for the laptop so 20% of the original cost to replace the AC adapter wasn’t on my radar screen. Then I found this little beauty for including shipping. The reviews were good and I figure it was worth the chance. Well, it has been terrific since I got it now about two months ago. The only negative thing about it is that the cords are slightly shorter than the HP version. I can strongly recommend this baby as a fine replacement.

Cheap Universal Soft Sleeve Pouch for 8 – 10″ Netbook Laptop – Exotic Safari Black White Zebra Print with Double Zipper Review

I bought this for my Asus Eee PC. It’s 10.1″ and fits perfectly in the sleeve. My cords fit in the front pouch, but make it look bulky. But what can you do, right? It’s a nice quality neoprene material. Seems very protective. And the black and white colors are very vibrant.

Cheap WHITE 100FT CAT5 CAT5e RJ45 PATCH ETHERNET NETWORK CABLE 100 FT, For PC, Mac, Laptop, PS2, PS3, XBox, and XBox 360 to hook up on high speed internet from DSL or Cable internet. Review

This 100ft cable is a good cable, it is good for running through the walls to hook up a Xbox 360 or PC to a router. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because the cable was made with poor connectors. The cheep connectors that come with it correctly lock into the Ethernet port but are slightly too small, which allows them to come loose and disconnect from the internet. As long as you are not moving the computer or Xbox while you are using them, then this cable will work fine for you. If you need to be able to move something while using it. Then find a better cable.

Cheap Caselogic VNA214 14.1-Inch Laptop Attache (Black) Review

This bag fits my square 14 inch HP laptop, but it’s pretty tight. It is a nice alternative to the more bulky backpack or over the shoulder laptop bags if you just want to carry your laptop, the power cord and maybe some papers. It’s handier to carry to office or to the coffee shop and I can carry another purse with it without struggling. The pockets can hold a small wireless mouse if you want or a small external hard drive. I would not use it as a bag for plane rides as they limit the bag to 1, and this bag is too small to fit in anything else. The build of the bag is pretty sturdy and it should hold up.
I would have liked the design to be a little more fun. While appropriate for office, it looks really plain and drab with my outfit. It seems like a member of the Caselogic CD case family rather than a cute Airbook or Notebook bag, a bit boring to look at. That doesn’t affect it’s functionality though so I gave it 4 points but I would probably keep looking for a more fun bag.

Cheap Wenger Patriot Rolling Case Blk Up To 17IN Laptop with notebook Case Review

The Wenger Patriot is, for me, the classic road warrior bag. It has plenty of geek appeal, with its many pockets that allow the anal retentive organizer separate and categorize its content. It is large enough to be my primary carry-on for day trips up to 2 or 3 days, and small enough to squeak by as a “personal item or brief case” on most flights other than those on excruciatingly small commuter planes. The frequent traveler will see this bag being rolled around by more other frequent travelers than almost any other bag – and there is good reason. It is more bag for the price than almost any other. There have been many minor version changes over the years as the company has made minor changes. I’m on my second one after about 7 years. The old one is still usable, but the wheels got embarrassingly noisy as the bearings wore out from miles of duress. My new one has slightly less room in the back compartment due to thicker, presumably more durable or cheaper-to-make tubes on the pop-up handle – the old one’s handle was much thinner but never gave up on me despite the fact I put that bag through hell. This is indeed the “swiss army knife of travel bags.” Unless you need much more expensive “status luggage” to satisfy an executive ego, you cannot go wrong with it. My old one has been my most reliable travel companion for years, outliving 3 laptops, 2 projectors, 3 cell phones, and so on. Even though I’ve replaced it, I won’t throw it away. It will become my second bag on those trips where I need more capacity, because these are just the right size that you can stack them and get away with carrying two of them onto most planes.

Cheap Hitachi 500GB Travelstar SATA 7200 RPM Laptop Internal Hard Drive HD20500IDK/7K – Retail Review

I have installed two of these 7200 RPM 500GB drives now, one in a Lenovo Thinkpad T60p and one in a Dell D620. I used SiSoftware-Sandra (downloadable free) to check that the disk interface was SATA and the speed of the SATA disk controller. The Lenovo used a SATA Revision 1 (1.5Gb/s) interface, so I downloaded Hitachi’s Feature Tool from [...] to change the SATA interface speed, as this drive comes with the default set to 3Gb/s. It’s not difficult – you just need to burn the software to a CD, which you boot from, to change the disk settings.
I copied the existing hard drive by inserting this disk into a neat (and cheap) Vantec NexStar CX NST-200S2-BK 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure (Black) using Acronis True Image Home 2010 software to “clone” the hard disk. If you have an operating system restore partition on the hard drive – true for most Dells and Lenovos – you need to clone that partition to a partition of the same size on the new disk. Acronis will allow you to do this fairly painlessly.
Both of my new Hitachi replacement disks are *fast* and totally trouble free in their new homes. In total, it took about two hours to do the whole thing: about an hour and a half to clone the existing hard drive, about 15 minutes to swap drives over, and 15 minutes to think about things …
. I have been using Hitachi Travelstar hard drives for years now and I have never had a problem with any of them. I love the increased performance that this disk provides — *and* I love not having to look for spaces to back up all of the data that no longer fit on my old drive!

Cheap (9-Cell) Extended Laptop Battery for Dell Latitude D620 D630 Series, PN 312-0383, 312-0384, 312-0386, JD634 Review

I bought this battery from Amazon at a third of what I would have paid Dell for it. For the price, it is an excellent buy. It looks, feels and works like a regular Dell battery. Only complaint I have is that there is a slight bump in the front and as a result, it doesn’t fit in flush with the laptop (this is something that other users complained about too). As for lifespan, I really can’t comment as I’ve only used it for a few weeks.

Cheap Case Logic ENS-14 14.1-Inch Neoprene Laptop Sleeve (Black) Review

It’s a really good case, as in it’s durable. I like it. The only problem I have with it is it’s runs a little big for my taste. It says that it’s for a 14.1″ Laptop which is what I have and it’s slightly too big. I would advise people buying this to get one slightly smaller than their laptop if they want a snug fit.
